Motorola Solutions reports Q2 2020 financial results
Motorola Solutions reported sales of US$1.618 billion for Q2, 2020, down 13% from US$1.860 billion a year ago. GAAP operating earnings for Q2 2020 was US$218 million, down 38% from US$349 million for Q2 2019. For Q3 2020, Motorola Solutions expects revenue decline of (9%) to (8%) compared with the third quarter of 2019. “I’m proud of our solid execution in Q2, led by software & services, in the face of this global pandemic. Trimble reports Q2 2020 financial results
Trimble reported sales of US$733.6 million for Q2, 2020, down from US$854.8 million a year ago. GAAP operating income for Q2 2020 was US$97.6 million, down from US$109.7 million for Q2 2019. "The resilience of the Trimble team, the quality of our Connect & Scale 2025 strategy, and the strength of our financial model enabled us to perform despite difficult circumstances," said Rob Painter, Trimble's president and chief executive officer. Review: Handheld Algiz RT8 rugged Android tablet
There's a sizable market for tough and rugged Android tablets with screens bigger than the biggest smartphone, but still small and light enough to go anywhere. Overall computer graphics market grows to $154 billion by 2023

Global AIO PC shipments surge nearly 30% in 2Q20, says Digitimes Research
Global shipments of AIO (all-in-one) PCs increased 28.7% sequentially to three million units in the second quarter of 2020 thanks to fulfillment of orders deferred from the first quarter by production disruptions amid the coronavirus outbreak.
