Polywell Introduces the i2315Ai Compact AI Workstation

Modern CPU and NPU platform with dedicated NVIDIA RTX graphics provides integrators with a flexible foundation for applications that require both strong general-purpose computing and GPU-accelerated AI, graphics or video processing

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, August 3, 2026 — Polywell Computers introduced the Polywell i2315Ai, a compact GPU-accelerated workstation combining Intel® Core™ Ultra Series 2 processing with NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4060 8 GB graphics.

Designed for Edge AI, GPU computing, video processing, engineering visualization and other graphics-intensive commercial applications, the i2315Ai provides dedicated GPU acceleration, substantial memory capacity, multiple high-speed storage positions and support for up to four displays in a slim enclosure.

The system can be configured with the Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 processor 285H or Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 processor 255H. Both processors use a 16-core hybrid architecture and include an Intel® AI Boost NPU for compatible AI workloads. Depending on the processor, Intel specifies maximum frequencies of up to 5.4 GHz and overall peak platform AI capability of up to 99 TOPS.

By combining this modern CPU and NPU platform with dedicated NVIDIA RTX graphics, the i2315Ai gives integrators a flexible foundation for applications that require both strong general-purpose computing and GPU-accelerated AI, graphics or video processing.

Why the i2315Ai Strengthens Polywell's Compact Workstation Portfolio:
The i2315Ai extends Polywell's small-form-factor product range with capabilities normally associated with substantially larger desktop systems:

  • Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 285H or Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 255H processor
  • Integrated Intel® AI Boost NPU delivering up to 13 TOPS for supported AI workloads
  • NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4060 graphics with 8 GB of dedicated graphics memory
  • Two DDR5 SO-DIMM sockets supporting up to 128 GB of dual-channel DDR5-4800 non-ECC memory
  • Three M.2 2280 storage positions: two for PCIe x4 NVMe SSDs and one supporting either PCIe NVMe or SATA 6 Gb/s storage
  • Support for up to four 4K displays through one HDMI® 2.1 output, two DisplayPort 1.4 outputs and a USB-C display connection
  • Two Gigabit Ethernet ports with Wake-on-LAN and PXE boot support
  • One M.2 2230 position for a compatible Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module or another supported module
  • Five USB 3.0 ports and one front USB-C connection
  • Realtek® ALC892 audio supporting 7.1-channel sound
  • Slim actively cooled enclosure measuring approximately 320 × 239 × 56 mm
CPU, NPU and GPU Resources for Modern AI Workloads

The combination of Intel Core Ultra processing and NVIDIA RTX graphics gives the Polywell i2315Ai several computing resources that can be assigned to different parts of an application.

The processor's integrated NPU can execute compatible inference and background AI functions without placing the entire workload on the CPU. This can be useful for applications designed to take advantage of Intel-supported AI frameworks and NPU acceleration.

More demanding parallel workloads can use the NVIDIA RTX 4060 GPU. Its CUDA processing resources and fourth-generation Tensor Cores provide a practical platform for supported AI inference, image and video analysis, GPU computing, rendering and visualization software.

This heterogeneous architecture allows solution developers to choose the most appropriate processing resource for each workload instead of relying solely on conventional CPU execution. Actual performance will depend on the selected configuration, software framework, model and workload.

Up to 128 GB of Memory and Three M.2 Storage Positions

AI, visualization and media applications often require more memory and local storage than a conventional office mini PC can provide.

With two replaceable DDR5 SO-DIMMs and support for up to 128 GB of system memory, the i2315Ai can accommodate substantial datasets, multiple applications, development tools and memory-intensive professional workloads.

Its three M.2 2280 storage positions provide additional configuration flexibility. Two positions support PCIe x4 NVMe SSDs, while the third can accept either an NVMe or SATA M.2 drive.

Customers can therefore configure separate storage resources for the operating system, applications, AI models, captured data, media files or project workspaces without relying entirely on external drives.

Four-Display Support for Visualization and Monitoring

The i2315Ai can support up to four 4K displays through its HDMI, DisplayPort and USB-C video connections. The DisplayPort 1.4 outputs also support resolutions up to 8K at 60 Hz in compatible configurations.

This multi-display capability is valuable for engineering visualization, monitoring stations, financial and operational dashboards, media production, control environments and other applications where users need to view several data sources or workspaces simultaneously.

Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports give integrators two physical network connections. Depending on the operating system and application design, these ports can be used to connect separate network segments, isolate equipment traffic from the main business network or provide dedicated links for data acquisition and system management.

Who Needs the Polywell Mini-AI935Max?
The Polywell i2315Ai is intended for organisations that need dedicated GPU capability but cannot accommodate, or do not require, a conventional full-size workstation:

  • Edge AI development and local inference systems
  • GPU-accelerated image and video processing
  • Engineering, CAD and professional visualization workstations
  • AI-assisted media and content-production systems
  • Multi-display monitoring and operational workstations
  • Data analysis and CUDA-enabled computing applications
  • Interactive visualization, simulation and training systems
  • Compact high-performance commercial desktops
  • Development, integration and demonstration platforms
A Practical Bridge Between Mini PCs and Full-Size Workstations

Many compact computers provide capable general-purpose processing but depend entirely on integrated graphics. Full-size workstations offer greater expansion, but their dimensions and power requirements may be unnecessary for a single-GPU edge or professional application.

The Polywell i2315Ai addresses the space between these two categories. It combines a current Intel Core Ultra processor, a dedicated NVIDIA RTX GPU, up to 128 GB of replaceable memory, three M.2 storage positions, four-display capability and dual Ethernet in a slim system.

This model strengthens Polywell's ability to supply application-focused platforms across the complete computing spectrum — rom embedded and industrial mini PCs to compact AI workstations, enterprise servers and multi-GPU computing systems.
