The compact yet high-resolution display allows field personnel to view inspection records, operating instructions, asset details, and workflow applications clearly in outdoor, industrial, and fast-paced operational environments.

At the core of the TC605-EX is the Qualcomm® QCM4490 Octa-Core processor, running up to 2.4GHz. Paired with Android 14.0, the platform provides the processing power and operating-system support needed for responsive application performance, efficient multitasking, barcode scanning, data collection, digital forms, asset tracking, and communication tasks.

Built for harsh operating conditions, the TC605-EX is rated IP68 waterproof and dustproof, making it suitable for environments where exposure to water, dust, dirt, and industrial contaminants is part of daily operations. In addition to sealed protection, the handheld is tested to MIL-STD-810H drop requirements, supporting up to 6 ft / 1.8 m drop resistance for demanding field use.

A key differentiator of the TC605-EX is its support for hazardous-area compliance. The device is certified to ATEX II Ex ic IIC T4 Gc and II 3D Ex ic IIIB T135°C Dc, as well as IECEx Ex ic IIC T4 Gc and Ex ic IIIB T135°C Dc, helping customers meet strict operational safety requirements in potentially explosive atmospheres.
