JLT Mobile Computers Strengthens Organization for Future Growth

As part of its long-term growth strategy, JLT strengthens the European sales and development team and adapts organizational structure in anticipation of future opportunities

Växjö, Sweden — June 5, 2017 — JLT Mobile Computers, a leading developer and manufacturer of reliable computers for demanding environments, continues to strengthen its sales organization with the appointment of Danny Dierckx responsible for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the U.K. and Benelux; and Anette Malmström as Sales Manager for Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. Christian Funk, previously responsible for the Nordic countries, as well as Germany and the U.K., is from now on focusing on global strategic business development, still maintaining responsibility for strategic customers. Additionally, the development department is expanded to speed up product development and continue to build core expertise.

Danny Dierckx, who is taking on the role as European Channel & Solution Director for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the U.K. and the Benelux countries, has built more than 10 years of experience in developing total solutions for JLT products. With a broad network in the industry and an extensive experience of 25 years in rugged mobile computing, including running the company Mobile Vision, and with special competence in the agriculture segment, Danny will be a great asset for JLT.

Anette Malmström, who is taking on the role as new JLT Sales Manager for the Nordic countries, most recently worked as Key Account Manager at NOTE, a leading Northern European contract manufacturer and logistics partner for electronic products. During her career at NOTE, Anette held the positions of Production Leader, Technical Project Leader and Manager of the NOTE sales office in Strasbourg, France.

The former Northern European Sales Manager, Christian Funk, now signs responsible for strategic development of JLT Mobile Computers' global business.

The expansion of the European sales organization puts JLT in a stronger position to seize upon new business opportunities, to drive international expansion and to fortify the existing network of partners. The continuous development of the JLT Global Sales Partner Program is an important part of JLTs long-term growth strategy; as recently as April, five new partners were added to the international partner network (announced in a press release on April 10, 2017).

Per Holmberg, CEO, JLT Mobile Computers, is seeing a bright future ahead. "By investing in both the sales and development departments we are creating the foundation for future growth. Our greatest challenges in 2017 lie in developing our product offering and expanding our global presence further. Our new team members will without any doubt make a great contribution and I'm very excited to welcome our new colleagues to JLT."
